            <p>Each year the Orchestre National de France gives a total of some 80 concerts in Paris, where it has made its principal base at the Auditorium of Radio France since November 2014. In 2020 the orchestra also launched its outreach initiative Le Grand Tour du National.</p> 
            <p>The Orchestre National de France regularly appears on international tours and has a long tradition to perform in China. The first concert in Beijing took place in 1996 with then Music Director Charles Dutoit. </p> 
            <p>The Concert de Paris, broadcast live in front of the Eiffel Tower on Bastille Day,
            14<sup>th</sup> July, regularly attracts millions of viewers. The concert ranks second in terms of world-wide viewers after Vienna's New Year concert. </p>

            <p>Previously he was the Intendant of the Wiener Symphoniker from 2011 to 2019. From 2002 to 2010 Neubert was Artistic Director of the Tonkünstler Orchestra in Vienna and from 2005 to 2010 also Managing Director of the Grafenegg Festival, which he co-founded. In previous positions he worked for Christoph Lieben-Seutter at the Vienna Konzerthaus, as Head of Marketing of the Jeunesse Musicale in Vienna as well as in the marketing department of English National Opera in London.</p> 
            <p>Neubert was born in Jena and studied flute at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater and The College of Music at the Berlin University of the Arts from 1987 to 1992. After receiving his diploma and working briefly as a flutist in the Berlin Symphony Orchestra (now the Konzerthausorchester Berlin), he began studying for a master's degree in musicology, political science and history at Humboldt University Berlin in 1992, but then switched to the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre, where he completed his diploma in cultural management in 1995. And it was the first ensemble in the history of music to give a concert in the Antarctic (Elephant Bay), the seventh, southernmost continent on Earth. In 2002, he switched to become the chief manager at Bayerischer Rundfunk (with Mariss Jansons and Marcello Viotti). Gustav Mahler conducted the orchestra in the world premieres of his 4th and 8th Symphonies, and in November 1911, the world premiere of Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde took place under Bruno Walter's direction. Ferdinand Löwe led the first Bruckner concerts and established the orchestra's Bruckner tradition, which was then gloriously continued by general music director Sergiu Celibidache. With it's then following Chief Conductors James Levine, Christian Thielemann, Lorin Maazel, Valery Gergiev and famous guest conductors like Zubin Mehta, the Munich Philharmonic played countless performances in the concert halls all over the world. </p> 
            <p>In addition, the orchestra developed their own comprehensive music education programme for young and old, which is called ‘Spielfeld Klassik'. Up to 35,000 people of all ages attended the more than 150 events held each year. </p>

In 1995 he took on a teaching position in cultural management at the Europa University Viadrina in Frankfurt an der Oder. Between 1997 and 2002 Paul Müller was the Manager of the NDR Symphony Orchestra in Hamburg, from where he went on to be Director of the Bamberg Symphony for six years. Since 2008 he has been the Executive Director of the Munich Philharmonic, working closely together with its Honourary Conductor Zubin Mehta as well as Chief Conductors Lorin Maazel, Christian Thielemann, Valery Gergiev and Chief Conductor Designate Lahav Shani.             <p>The orchestra's distinctive image, as well as its creative and often provocative marketing, have influenced the recognition of the orchestra as an exponent of social changes. Thus, the BPO quickly attracted many classical music authorities, who supported its further development. Most notably, it has fostered a long-lasting friendship with Zubin Mehta, who first encountered with Belgrade Philharmonic through a concert held in 1958. </p> 
            <p>The most important goals of the orchestra within its five-year planning of activity and development are positioning on the international music scene, promotion on other continents, and building the new concert hall in Belgrade – one of the most significant investments in cultural projects in Serbia.</p>

Moving to Paris in 1975, he became a partner in the artistic agency Opéra et Concert. He also worked closely with Herbert von Karajan for many years. Engstroem moved to Switzerland in 1986. During this period, he was a consultant for EMI France, for the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele and the Opéra national de Paris.</p> 
            <p>In 1991 he started to put together what in 1994 became the Verbier Festival & Academy for which he remains the artistic and executive head as Founder & Director. In 2000 and 2005, he set up respectively the Verbier Festival Orchestra and the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra. In 2013, a new education project was launched under his initiative, the Verbier Festival Music Camp (today renamed the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra).</p> 
            <p>From 1999 to 2003, Engstroem was Vice-President of Deutsche Grammophon for the sector ‘Artists and Repertoire'. Then from 2003 to 2005, he was appointed Senior Executive Producer & Artist Development.</p>

In collaboration with Clive Gillinson, Carnegie Hall's Executive and Artistic Director, and Sarah Johnson, Director of the Weill Music Institute, he established NYO-USA, which made its debut in summer 2013 featuring the country's finest young musicians, collaborating with internationally renowned artists. In summer 2016, the program expanded further with the launch of NYO2, created with a particular focus on recruiting players from communities traditionally underserved by the orchestra field. A third ensemble, NYO Jazz comprising gifted teen jazz musicians from across the country, debuted in 2018 and has several successful international tours to its credit.</p>

            <p>Born in Hunan, China, in 1991, LAI Jiajing received her first piano lesson when she was five. LAI Jiajing obtained her Master's Degree in Orchestral Conducting at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2018.</p>
